No Nuclear War is the final album by the Jamaican musician Peter Tosh, known for being one of the core members of the Bob Marley backing band The Wailers. He combines elements of reggae with roots and the popular dancehall music from that period. It received a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 1988. 180 gram audiophile vinyl.
The final album of reggae legend Peter Tosh's career could scarcely have been steeped in more irony. Instead Tosh stalked a nuclear straw man on the title track (has there ever been a pro-nuclear war pop star?) and espoused world peace with tired Lennonisms like "Come Together. There are hints elsewhere that Tosh was trying to find a way to reconcile his past musical adventures with contemporary trends, but it was not to be.

No Nuclear War is the seventh and final studio album by Peter Tosh. It was released in 1987 (see 1987 in music). It was Tosh's second Grammy nomination, Captured Live having been nominated in the same category in 1985. Bonus track on "The Definitive Remasters" 2002 EMI CD release.
