I Serve a Savior is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Josh Turner. It was released on October 26, 2018, through MCA Nashville, and is Turner's first release to primarily consist of gospel music. The album was also bundled with a live performance DVD for release exclusively in Cracker Barrel stores that features an interview with Bill Gaither.

That album, I Serve a Savior, arrived in 2018, just over a year after Deep South gave him his third Billboard Country number one. Deep South relied heavily on Turner's way with a ballad, a gift that also serves him well on I Serve a Savior. Opening with a rollicking version of Hank Williams' "I Saw the Light," the record quickly shifts down a gear with "I Pray My Way Out of Trouble," a duet with Bobby Osborne. Much of the album proceeds at this sober, reflective pace, yet there are just enough uptempo cuts to give this a pulse

Josh Turner, whose 2003 debut single Long Black Train was a nod to his gospel-music roots, will release a full-length album showcasing songs of faith next month. Due out October 26th, the South Carolina native’s I Serve a Savior will include hand-picked hymns, new original material and live versions of Turner’s inspirational tunes. Also of special note is a live version of The River (of Happiness), a song written by Turner’s wife Jennifer and their eldest son, 11-year-old Hampton. The track also features vocal assistance from all four of the Turners’ young sons.

The title track of Josh Turner's 2018 gospel album, "I Serve A Savior" is one of two original songs on the collection. His wife and son's tune "The River (of Happiness) (live from Gaither Studios)" is the other. Turner wrote the song with his good friend Mark Narmore. Like Turner, Narmore is a committed Christian; the pair have collaborated on several other spiritually inclined tunes such as "The Answer" and "Let's Find a Church
