Digital Booklet: 127 Hours. Choosing Indian composer . Rahman for Slumdog Millionaire, a modern fantasy set in India, made sense. However, it is a bit surprising that Danny Boyle stuck with the same composer for his next film about an American hiker trapped under a rock. And yet, the soundtrack totally works. Completely different from their previous collaboration, Rahman produces a minimalistic and distinctively American thriller. The most prominent element of the score is a tension-filled guitar riff that catches both the recklessness and vivacity of the main character and the dread and nervous energy his situation.

Touch The Sun (Interscope Records 2010) Started as a great weekend plan for hiking and self-adventuring of a biographical real horrific experience for Aron Ralston as an amateur canyoneer finding himself trapped with his one hand stuck under between rocks in a remote place somewhere around the Blue John Canyon, Utah. After pleasuring himself using bicycle for couple miles continues by foot trekking and met two lovely fellow canyoneer girls and did fun things; A.R Rahman the music composer manage to bring the audiences to also witnessing and then, experienced the agonizing and terrible event when Ralston fell into a deeper crack between the rock walls and had to surviving with less water-supply, tool-kit, no phone connection even drinking his own urine and finally, cutting his hand in order to escaped alive on this Danny Boyle’s movie 127 Hours. Starring James Franco as Aron; you should be able to sense that something might getting not quite right since the beginning of our main character preparations in the early morning by skipping most of his important stuff to bring just because he’s going to a place that he knew very well for trekking adventure like the back of his hand until the immediate danger occurs and struck his luck. The soundtrack for 127 Hours really stating how at first things really working out just fine and fun like Ca Plane pour Moi (Plasic Bertrand), Lovely Day (Bill Withers) or A.R. Rahman’s Liberation Begins tunes glaring the scene that moving fast from big city to desert area but turning to deep regretting sour for Acid Darbari, R.I.P or Libertion in Dream but as the fortun comes back and chances oddly emerge, there’s Festival or If I Rise reaching on hope.
