Márvio Ciribelli is a talented jazz pianist/composer, here backed by Gláucio Martins (saxes/flute), Paulo Williams (trombone/vocal), Rogério Fernandes (bass), and Rocyr Abud, drums. The album is interesting, mainly due to the original rhythms of Brazil. Technically, the ensemble's grasp of the jazz idiom is not comparable to that often achieved by musicians in the United States. However, with its songs based on Brazilian rhythms, the album maintains a high interest level.
