Americana icon Steve Earle and his country rock band The Dukes will release a new album So You Wannabe an Outlaw on June 16 on Warner Bros. It’s Steve’s first album for Warner Bros. Records since 1997’s El Corazón, and explores his country songwriting roots, featuring collaborations with Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, and Miranda Lambert. There’s nothing ‘retro’ about this record, Earle says. I’m just acknowledging where I’m coming from

The granddaddy of live music venues, the Continental Club has enjoyed a coast-to-coast and worldwide reputation as the premiere club for live music in Austin since 1955 and in Houston since 2000. The historic Austin live music destination first opened its doors in 1955 as a swanky private supper club, but in the decades since, it's become a mecca for roots, rockabilly, country, swing, rock and blues music every night of the week

Steve Earle of Steve Earle & The Dukes performs onstage at New West Records during the 2019 SXSW Conference and Festivals at Mowhawk on March 15, 2019 in Austin, Texas. Steve Earle gave Guy Clark his due one more time on Friday night (March 15), closing his initial blast of dates launching the upcoming Guy tribute album with a heartfelt South By Southwest performance at the Mohawk.
