One of the most comprehensive ragga jungle tracks ever made, this much remixed classic from Congo Natty mashes together vocals and basslines from numerous reggae classics so well, it sounds like each was produced specifically for this record. Conquering Lion’ makes our list for having everything you want from a ragga jungle tune: rewinds, gunshots, relentless patois chatter and, of course, masses of bass and rude-boy swagger.

Some of the tracks near the end of the album seem to be leftovers from their punk days, and despite some vaguely interesting lyrics they don’t create a lot of atmosphere. The last track, I Remember Nothing, has a very cool breaking-glass loop used as percussion, but overstays its welcome by a few minutes.
