To Hell With Burgundy has also opened shows for Graham Parker & the Rumour, Clannad, and Bob Geldof. Initially a duo featuring acoustic guitarist and vocalist Karl Walsh and st Joanne Hensman (who met when they were drama students), To Hell With Burgundy was expanded to a trio with the addition of guitarist and vocalist Kevin Metchear. Their name comes from a line in Rudolf Friml's operetta, The Vagabond King. Since the release of their second album, Only the World, in February 1992, the group has recorded for their own Stig - Europe label.
