Sonic the Hedgehog is an original album released by German music label Arcade, with songs inspired by the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. Though an officially licensed product, the recording contains no music featured within any Sonic game titles before or since its release.

It has a music video for the album's single "They Call Me Sonic" (that uses some footage from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and the scrapped game Sonic Ride) and a demo for the game Comix Zone. Sonic the Hedgehog is an upcoming adventure comedy film produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures and based on the eponymous video game franchise published by Sega. The film is directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Patrick Casey, Josh Miller, and Oren Uziel, from a story by Van Robichaux and Evan Susser.
