I'm the Man is Joe Jackson's second album, released in October 1979. Taken from the album, "It's Different for Girls", was his biggest UK chart single, peaking at number five in the UK Singles Chart. I'm the Man was re-released in 2001 with one bonus track, a live version of "Come On". "Come On" was originally released as the b-side to Jackson's single "I'm the Man", also issued in October 1979.
Ruffin eventually met an up-and-coming local group by the name of The Temptations. In 1970 Ruffin recorded an album with his brother Jimmy, I Am My Brother's Keeper, for which they had minor hits with "When My Love Hand (Comes Tumbling Down)" and "Your Love Was Worth Waiting For". While his solo career initially showed promise, Ruffin went into decline, reportedly in part because of his cocaine addiction and the lack of support from Motown Ruffin started touring with Kendricks (who dropped the "s" from his last name at this time) as a duo act in 1985. Ruffin was sentenced in 1982 to six months in a low-security prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, for failing to pay taxes during the mid-1970s.

His new album Wanna Be Your Man, is produced by Mndsgn, and sounds simultaneously like retro hits and the music of the future. Prophet is the first to point out that his journey has been longer than most artists. After Right On Time, he says, Nobody really gave me a shot. Imagine if someone came up to you and said: ‘It’s not going to break for you for another 30 years. I had to stay focused and stay on the path. But there were some fans who kept the flame of that first album alive
րգի տեքստը՝ I wonder who, gonna be your sweet man when I’m gone? I wonder who, gonna be your sweet man when I’m gone? I wonder who you’re gonna have to love you? 'Cause I won’t ever stay at home.
