Mixed/Mastered by Justin Gonyea at KTR Recording in Burlington, Vermont. Additional engineering by Steve Sharp and Adam Bister. Guest vocals on the track "Circles" by Josh Zelazny of Alive & Well. Segue" recorded in Brooklyn, NYC with Ben Lee of Clydesdale Erotic. Released by Prolific Summer. Their first release, Cold Hum (2010), introduced the band as the Queen City’s desert rock enfants terribles. Their latest, Fathoms, reintroduces VOC as a band with ls-of-Machu-Picchu writing and execution. Hefty sludge metal with some atmospheric elements of breezy post rock that is expertly offset by fierce growling vocals and dizzying riffs and rhythms.

The songs on Vultures Of Cult's Cold Hum were written and recorded from early 2007 to late 2009. Tracking took place at 3 different locations in and around Burlington, Vermont.Initially the album was to be released as a 12 inch vinyl record. Being that "Vultures Of Cult" couldn't finish mixing it, "Vultures Of Cult" have resigned to posting it on bandcamp. Though it is simply a master made from a cassette tape.
