Just Can’t Hate Enough X 2 bridges the gap between our 2013 album Reach Beyond The Sun and whatever the next one will be called. On full lengths we like to write varied songs and broaden our musical parameters; here, we just raged. More MDC than Opeth, though we love both and sound like neither. Lyrically, as always, we try to isolate aspects of humanity we find regressive and counterproductive to mass wellbeing; analyzing bits of profound hatred we’re always spouting off about.
Just Can't Hate Enough x 2 - Plus Other Hate Songs. Shai Hulud is a metal/hardcore band originally formed in Pompano Beach, Florida, the band later moved up to Poughkeepsie, New York. Matt Fox (guitar) and Dave Silber (Bass) formed Shai Hulud in 1995 with Damien Moyal on vocals, Jason Lederman on drums, and Oliver Chapoy on guitar. Matt was playing in several other kinds of bands like rock bands and they just wanted to play some hardcore" says former bassist Jared Allen.
The two mainstay members of Shai Hulud are Matt Fox (guitar), who writes most of the band's musical and lyrical output, and Matt Fletcher (originally guitar, now bass guitar), who assists in writing. Early years (1995–1997). Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion (1997–2003). That Within Blood Ill-Tempered (2003–2006). Misanthropy Pure (2006–2009). Reach Beyond the Sun (2011–present). In May 1998 three tracks were recorded for a split with New York's Indecision entitled The Fall of Every Man. The split was released in November 1998. In 2006, Revelation Records released a remastered version of the album which also includes the material from all of Shai Hulud's split records with bands Indecision, Boy Sets Fire and Another Victim, and some B-sides and covers.
