Dracula's Necrophobic Actions is a mostly instrumental recording group, solo project which has released several musically varied albums since its debut double LP, "Cheers!", came out in 2016. The main contributor and songwriter is Sebastian Paquette, but frequent contributors include his brother Dorian Paquette, and Gabe Bradshaw. They are notable for their discography mainly consisting of home recordings with bizarre production techniques and song structures, and their incorporation of sound collages into their music. Two albums were released simultaneously in September 2017,.

Darkside is the second album by Swedish Blackened death metal band Necrophobic. It was released in 1997. There is a hidden track after the tenth track. Black Moon Rising" 02:51. Spawned by Evil" 03:21. Venaesectio (Episode One)" 01:23. Descension (Episode Two)" 01:21. Nailing the Holy One" 02:42. Nifelhel" (Episode Three) 04:12. Christian Slaughter" 06:16.

Mark Of The Necrogram is NECROPHOBIC’s first album on their new label home Century Media Records, and it marks another step up on the staircase to the death metal throne, delivering sorrow-laden melodies of musical mastermind Sebastian Ramstedt, furious riffs of rhythm guitarist Johan Bergebäck, the pounding bass of Alexander Friberg, battering war drums by the band’s heart and soul.

That same year Necrophobic released The Nocturnal Silence which shoved the commercial pressure that came with Earache’s Columbia distribution deal up Christ’s ass where it belongs. Dark and delightfully devilish, The Nocturnal Silence found Necrophobic ditching the Sunlight buzzsaw sound for a sharper one of their own over nine songs of impeccable death metal. In the wake of the tsunami of black metal in the early nineties, Necrophobic took a blacker path on their sophomore 1997 release, Darkside. While the edge of many veteran bands can be dulled by time, Necrophobic have kept theirs razor sharp. Mark of the Necrogram is an album that any listener with an affinity for heavy music and a soft spot for my ex wife (Satan) will appreciate. Missteps are few and far between despite the path being dark to the point of absolute.

Thank God Satan for Necrophobic then, who swept in at just the right time to help reignite my passion for the genre. Here was a band who had not only paid their dues (with interest) but who had, alongside their early contemporaries in Dissection, Dawn, etc, practically helped write the Black Metal rulebook. So when I found out that 4/5s of the line-up which wrote that album – along with returning vocalist Anders Strokirk, whose first (and last) appearance with the band was on their legendary debut The Nocturnal Silence – were getting together to compose the band’s long-awaited eighth record, you can perhaps imagine how excited I was.
