Martin Garrish and Friends at the Ocrafolk Festival. How lucky we are to have so many talented musicians on Ocracoke. Be sure to look for Martin Garrish. Caswell and Marcy and Lou of Coyote playing when you're here on Ocracoke. A great choice for anyone that has not yet planned a getaway to Ocracoke. So convenient to all the Silver Lake Harbor activities. How about early morning coffee on the screened porch or at one of the local coffee shops.

The selection is vast, but what makes me hold off on getting new sunglasses until I'm in Ocracoke is the incredible customer service. The gentleman who assisted me on my recent visit took the time to understand what I was looking for. Actually, he pretty much read my mind. I brought my three-year old daughter back later and he helped her find a great pair as well. During my second visit, he was helping another customer pick out a much more expensive pair. His style and enthusiasm was consistent regardless of price-point.
COYOTE are Marcy Brenner & Lou Castro who make Ocracoke Island, NC their home. Ever "the trickster," Coyote draw from a huge arc of influences (and instruments!) from classical to heavy metal, in both original songs and adapting covers. They have an engaging and spontaneous presence that invites listeners and audiences into their proverbial living room with enchanting, intimate songs and colorful music tinged with folk, rock, blues and jazz flavors.
