In France, the song held the country's number one slot for seven weeks and as of August 2014, it was the 19th best-selling single of the 21st century in France, with 565,000 units sold. It is recognized as one of Aventura's signature songs.
Unplugged is a 2004 live album by Bachata group Aventura. This album is a re-release version of the album En Vivo (Live) released in 2002. In 2011 it was re-released as LIVE! 2002 which had the same 8 live tracks and included a bonus track from the 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in which Aventura paid homage to José José with the song Lágrimas (Tears).
