Orchestrated Violence. Now, to be perfectly honest, Diamanthian first come to my attention as a result of them winning the Best Unsigned Act in Terrorizer Magazine a few years back, but I never bothered to get round to checking anything of theirs out. I've finally have, and my god, this band need signing, if for nothing more than to prove that there are fucking good new extreme metal bands still coming out of the UK that aren't resorting to either playing grind or a retro style (ie Mick Kenney).

The first 'official' Diamanthian demo; 'Orchestrated Violence' was recorded in early 2003 which was well received throughout the Uk underground scene and the band ended up selling literally hundreds of copies over the next couple of years. By September 2003 Diamanthian would regretfully lose Liverpool’s number 1 Heavy Metal maniac Micky Gorry, who emigrated to Australia. He was soon replaced by long time friend of the band Iain Turner (Bass 2003-05). In November/December of 2009 Diamanthian went on to tour Scotland, UK and Spain for the release of the album. The tour was a resounding success and the band looks forward to the future with more tours planned and a new album already being written.

Diamanthian's logo was designed by the infamous Jeff Walker (Carcass) who also oversaw the recording of the band's debut album 'The Infinite Descent' under the alias of "Offalmangler". Diamanthian are big in Finland, often apparently having achieved better more rabid enthusiasm from the Finns than some people on home soil.
