Included in the repertoire is the first single "Beautiful Liar" featuring Shakira and "Gitana" featuring superstar "Alejandro Fernandez. History may prove Beyoncé's B'Day to be a rare double-whammy of an achievement. In agreement with the others this album was definitely different from her last works, and did not follow the same skein that Dangerously in Love did. I will also say that it takes some getting used to at first. But I will not agree with the rest in labelling it as crap.
Beyoncé: American singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Beyonce performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead singer of the R&B girl-group Destiny's Child. Managed by her father, Mathew Knowles, the group became one of the best-selling girl groups in history. Their hiatus saw Beyonce's theatrical film debut in Austin Powers in Goldmember, and the release of her first solo album, Dangerously in Love.
