The Saxophon Sextett with Friedhelm Schönfeld, as the band leader, delivers two oustanding modern jazz tunes from the end of the 60´s. The A-side with "Acht Plus Zehn" features a wonderful modern bop jazz tune with a melancholic main theme. The B-side with "Elbnebel" is a beautiful melodramatic deep cinematic jazz composition. Friedhelm Schönfeld is one of the most known progressive Jazz musician & composer of the former East-Germany era, who is still active untill today. First vinyl release ever of these two songs, quality sound pressing, with mastered audio material from original master tape. cover with vintage haptics. Experiment Mit Jazz No 2 (7"). Rel: 08 Nov 18. Jazz. Acht Plus Zehn (7:08). Mudegg serves up two interpretations: the jaunty th-pop flex of the "Machine Mix" and the Balearic nu-disco inspired "Alpha Wave Mix". While these are both fine, the version that really stands out comes from German boogie revivalists First Touch.

The Partita in D minor for solo violin (BWV 1004) by Johann Sebastian Bach was written between 1717 and 1720. It is a part of his compositional cycle called Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin. The partita contains five movements, given in Italian as: Allemanda. Except for the ciaccona, the movements are dance types of the time, and they are frequently listed by their French names: Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Gigue, and Chaconne.
