ALL TIME BEST OF LOUIS ARMSTRONG (aka Louis Armstrong's Greatest Hits) includes the original KAPP singles of "Hello Dolly" and "What A Wonderful World. These and three other tracks come from the MCA archives. True or not, Satchmo certainly takes the listener down a nostalgic road of early jazz, blues, bebop, show tunes, rockabilly, and no telling what else on this "Greatest Hits" CD. Accompanying Louis are his best buddy-his trumpet, and his good friend, Bing Crosby. I enjoyed Trumpet, but could have done without Bing. This is, after all, Louis's greatest hits.
But when a compilation calls itself Louis Armstrong's All-Time Greatest Hits yet doesn't include "Dippermouth Blues," "Yes! I'm in the Barrel," or "Struttin' With Some Barbecue," just to name a few, it's difficult to agree with the name.
