Complete your John Rocca collection. I have 2 copies of this. Which I thought were identical. They both have the exact labels and runout etchings. But the A Side are completely different recordings. One of them have a duller demo like sound. Also the guitar parts are way more prominent on "demo sounding" one. There are even some elements that are not on the other one. The more polished sounding mix has it's break at 2:50, while the "demo" one has a sampled vocal type of break

Once Upon a Time is the seventh studio album by Scottish pop rock band Simple Minds, released in October 1985 by record label Virgin (A&M in the US). The album paired the group with music producer Jimmy Iovine. He had worked with artists featuring an aggressive guitar-based sound, including singer-songwriters Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks, and he brought that approach to the band.
