Luis Gatica (born February 25, 1961) is a Mexican actor of Chilean and Puerto Rican descent. Luis Gatica was born in Veracruz, Mexico. He grew in a show business family.
The first members were Jacinto Gatica (Veracruz, harp), born in Zamora, Michoacán who played in "el Conjunto Medellín" with Lino Chávez y Los Costeños, Salvador Torres (guitar) from San Juan del Rio, Queretaro and Raymundo Mendez (jarana) of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and Jorge Vargas (guitar). They played in concerts, radio and television programs to become very popular.
