Anyone that is a fan of melodic metal and extreme metal in general would thoroughly enjoy this melodic death masterpiece. I would rate this album 19/20.

Lullabies for the Dormant Mind is the sophomore full-length studio album by Canadian melodic death metal/metalcore band the Agonist. It was recorded at Studio Garage in Montreal, Quebec and produced by Christian R. Donaldson in 2008. It was released on February 23rd, 2009 through Century Media. The album peaked at 174 on the Japanese albums chart in 2012. The album lineup consists of frontwoman and lyricist Alissa White-Gluz on leading vocals, Danny Marino on guitars, Chris Kells on bass & backing vocals, and Simon McKay on drums & percussions.

While touring Lullabies for the Dormant Mind, the Agonist made their first trips to Mexico, Venezuela, Japan, China, Colombia, and toured Europe Prisoners (2011–2013).
