Earth and Fire were a Dutch progressive and symphonic rock band who over time evolved into a pop group. Formed in the Netherlands by twin brothers Chris and Gerard Koerts, and most popular in the 1970s when fronted by singer Jerney Kaagman, Earth and Fire had many chart topping hits in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe, though they never gained much popularity in England or the Americas.

Earth and Fire is the first studio album by the Dutch symphonic rock band Earth and Fire. Released in 1970, the album contains the first single "Seasons" written by Golden Earring singer and guitarist George Kooymans. The cover of the UK release was created by English artist Roger Dean. Earth, Wind, & Fire is the debut album released on Warner Bros. The music on this album is much tougher and more raw than the sound the group later became famous for. The vocals are very much a collaborative effort. Leads are freely traded, and many lines are sung by multiple voices.

The original album cover for Clear Blue Sky had a black and white line drawing on the inside of the gatefold cover and the drawing (or a photographic print) were later shown on a variety of backgrounds.
