Skarface is a third wave ska band from France that started in 1991. Their music includes influences from ska, punk rock and other genres. They have produced one CD almost every year of their existence. They have performed more than 1,200 concerts, in countries such as Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, United States and Canada. Ska heavily laden with traditional latin roots, swing/big band sound. Quick pace yet mellowish on the album: En Movimiento Burkina Ska. 0. . I just came across this album today while looking for something new for my show (Stay Rude ww. mpg. org) and am liking it so much I'm presently playing the entire thing! I would describe the sound of most of the tracks as "Modern Trad" - meaning the sound of modern bands that are highly influenced by the original styles.
