Rally Bop was born Rohan Wilson in 1981 and hails from Linstead, St. Catherine Jamaica where he spent the first 10 years of his life. He migrated to New York City in 1991 to reside with his mother and older sister. At age 12, the magic began. Rally Bop began to perform cover tunes and writing poetry, which soon lead to song lyrics. In 1995, he got an opportunity to perform at several nightclubs in New York City.

Sadly his quest for fame was injudiciously undermined following the release of ‘Bun Batty Bwoy’, failing to emulate the furore of the early 90s, attributed to artists such as Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks.

Doo-Bop is the last studio album by American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis. It was recorded with hip hop producer Easy Mo Bee and released posthumously on June 30, 1992, by Warner Bros. The album was received unfavorably by most critics, although it won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Instrumental Performance the following year.
