Chino Amobi - Paradiso When Chino Amobi started the NON collective and label with Nkisi and Angel-Ho, it was intended to give a voice to those who don't usually have one. Paradiso, Amobi's debut album, is full of voices. Voices that scream, sing, rap and recite poetry. Voices in all kinds of accents and cadences. In the past, Amobi and his peers have, through experimental club music, sought to highlight social justice themes without words. Paradiso takes the music away from the dance floor into a more freeform space.
Chinonyeelu Uchechi Amobi (born 1984), known professionally as Chino Amobi, is an American experimental electronic musician, contemporary artist, director, and co-founder of the independent record label NON Worldwide.
