What they have to offer in Young Ben Franklin isn't typical sludge metal. Their music has a punk-like and almost anarchic and chaotic aura to it. They don't employ the same low-tuned, fuzzy, blues based jams that the stereotypical sludge metal act does. The only problems that I could detect here was the shortness of all three of these songs and their incomplete nature. I think that Bummer could have added in a solo, or simply extended the songs' lengths with a few more riffs. But Young Ben Franklin is a decent start to a very nice career, so give this a listen.
