Zulu Winter doesn't sound too dissimilar from Coldplay. Not too soft, not too hard, it finds itself in the "just right" Goldilock's zone of musical genres. Fans of Coldplay, the Temper Trap, or Morning Parade will find a lot on this album to enjoy.

Zulu Winter’s problem – if it is such a thing – is that while they’re very good at what they do, they fall short of establishing a unique identity. Accomplished though this album is, it throws up perhaps too many parallels with preceding outfits – although, in its makers’ defence, the same can be said of many bands’ debuts.
