Def Leppard is the self-titled eleventh studio album by the British rock band of the same name, released on 30 October 2015. Leppard's first studio album since Songs from the Sparkle Lounge (2008) (marking the longest gap between two studio albums in their career) and their first on earMUSIC Records, it became their seventh top ten album after debuting on the Billboard 200 at number 10. The first single "Let's Go" was released 15 September 2015, alongside the artwork and track listing.
Hysteria is the fourth studio album by English hard rock band Def Leppard, released on 3 August 1987 through Mercury Records and reissued on 1 January 2000. It is Def Leppard's best-selling album to date, selling over 25 million copies worldwide, including 12 million in the US, and spawning seven hit singles. The album charted at number one on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart.
Def Leppard initially wrote songs with producer-songwriter Mutt Lange, who’d worked with them since 1981’s High & Dry. His packed schedule, though, meant that he couldn’t produce the album.
Instead, Def Leppard got practically canned off the stage. Jealousy over the . success and fears that they were lost to Britain forever turned the tide against Leppard with frightening speed. In addition, fate made a critical play. Just before Reading weekend, Ozzy Osbourne cancelled his appearance; former glam-pop sesations Slade were booked in his place . greeted by beer cans and derision. Uncle Jon Lord had to do his keyboard bits as well. Just how badly Def Leppard's perceived defection had gone down was brought home to them at the Reading Festival on August Bank Holiday weekend, 1980.
Strangely, Def Leppard’s first live album came all of 31 years after their first studio record, but it was worth the wait. Recorded between 2008 and 2011, Mirror Ball included two killer tracks from Songs From The Sparkle Lounge – C’mon C’mon and Nine Lives – alongside classics such as Foolin’ and Let’s Get Rocked. And among three new studio cuts was Undefeated, one of the great modern Def Leppard songs. 10. Slang (Bludgeon Riffola, 1996). Jon Bon Jovi had a haircut and pulled off a smart reinvention
