James Fox is a British art historian and BAFTA nominated broadcaster. Fox is a Fellow of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and specializes in 20th-century art. Fox received a starred first class degree in History of Art from Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He then undertook an MPhil on British modernism, and a PhD on history of art entitled Business Unusual: Art in Britain During the First World War, 1914–18, both at the University of Cambridge and funded by the AHRC

William Fox (born 19 May 1939), known professionally as James Fox, is an English actor, from a well-known acting family. He appeared in several notable films of the 1960s and early 1970s, including The Servant, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Performance, before quitting the screen for several years to be an evangelical Christian. He has since appeared in a wide range of film and TV productions.
