I got my first real six string Bought it at the five and dime Played it til my fingers bled Was the summer of '69. Me and some guys from school Had a band and we tried real hard Jimmy quit and Jody got married I shoulda known we'd never get far But when I look back now That summer seemed to last forever And if I had the choice Ya, I'd always wanna be there Those were the best days of my life. Summer of ‘69 is the fourth single from Bryan Adam’s forth album, Reckless. Written by Adams and Jim Vallance, Summer of '69 had gone though many changes before releasing it as a single, and it was originally titled Best Days of My Life until it ended up with the aforementioned title on its final draft.

Love Is a Stranger" is the fifth single by the British rock/pop duo Eurythmics. Originally released in late 1982, the single was commercially unsuccessful, but it was rereleased in 1983 when it became a hit, reaching the UK Top Ten. The single was re-released again in 1991, to promote Eurythmics' Greatest Hits album. Originally released in November 1982 in the United Kingdom, the song reached a disappointing on the singles chart

Lyrics to "Love Don't Cost A Thing" song by Jennifer Lopez: You think you gotta keep me iced You don't You think I'm gonna spend your cash I won't Even if you . .You think you gotta keep me iced You don't You think I'm gonna spend your cash I won't Even if you were broke My love don't cost a thing Think I wanna drive your Benz I don't If I wanna floss I got my own Even if you were broke My love don't cost a thing. When you rolled up in the Escalade Saw that dub you gave to the valet Knew that it was game when you looked at me Pulling up your sleeve so I could see the Rolley bling Saw you later in the corner booth Raising up a toast so I would notice you But your hard to miss Think you outta know Doesn't. matter if you're balling out of control. All that matter's is That.

Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing. Love Is Here to Stay. Love Is Just around the Corner. Love Isn't Just for the Young. Love Walked In. Lover. Maybe You'll Be There. Once on a high and windy hill. Однажды на высоком и продуваемом всеми ветрами холме. In the morning mist two lovers kissed and the world stood still. Пара влюбленных целовалась в утреннем тумане, и весь мир замер, When your fingers touch my silent heart and taught it how to sing. Когда твои пальцы коснулись моего безмолвного сердца и научили его петь. Yes, true love's a many-splendored thing.

Every stranger holds the potential to divert our direction, be it for a day or a lifetime. This casual determinism is my way of rebelling against the fatalistic views of love instilled in us from birth

The Stranger is the fifth studio album by American singer Billy Joel, released in September 1977 by Columbia Records. It was the first of Joel's albums to be produced by Phil Ramone, with whom he would go on to work for all of his albums up until his 1986 album The Bridge. The Stranger was released a year following Joel's previous studio effort, Turnstiles, which had sold modestly and peaked low on the US charts, prompting Columbia to consider dropping Joel if his next release did not sell well.

He reminds his readers of all the writing that portray Coltrane’s life as almost pre-ordained and points out the common deification of Coltrane. The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra recorded it in 2005, and the Turtle Island String Quartet included a short arrangement of it on their 2007 Coltrane tribute album. But aside from assorted performances of individual tracks by artists ranging from Kenny Garrett to Kurt Elling, musicians have largely refrained from recording the entire suite. This drive to use Coltrane’s style and being influenced by A Love Supreme in particular is not limited to musicians. The album’s influence is felt deeply in the work of writers, artists, and filmmakers. The Coltrane Poem has become so prevalent that it has almost become a sub-genre in its own right.

I don’t set out to make each album different than the last one, he says. It’s just my natural inclination. Wristband tells the hysterical tale of a rock star prevented from entering his own concert because he doesn’t have the proper wristband. It’s not a true story, says Simon. But I know plenty of people with this story and there have been times where I’ve been stopped backstage and asked to see a pass. The Riverbank was inspired by a visit to wounded veterans at Walter Reed Hospital and the funeral of a teacher Simon knew that was murdered in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
