Chopped out of the mix, both tracks take on a new life of their own. Up top, Acre's 'No Signal' comes off like an obliterated grime-techno version of Æ's 'Basscadet', and Fis knuckles out the buckled texturhythms of 'Branch Light', one of his most abstract, unforgiving de/constructions to date, over on the B-side.
