Alex Lloyd is the fourth studio album by Alex Lloyd, released in October 2005 (see 2005 in music). After the release of Distant Light, Lloyd took an extended hiatus from recording and touring, electing to spend more time with his wife Ameila and newborn son Jake. It was during this time that Lloyd severed ties with his management firm One Louder and record label EMI.

1) Alex Lloyd (born Alex Wasiliev in Sydney, November 1974) is an Australian singer-songwriter. His musical career can be traced all the way back to his teen years when, as a 13-year-old upstart, he started playing in pubs with his first band, the blues based The Beefs.
