Spector treated a series of mostly secular Christmas standards to his "Wall of Sound" treatment, and the selections feature the vocal performances of Spector's regular artists during this period.

We recently have gone retro and purchased a turntable earlier this year and so purchased a vinyl copy of this holiday classic. First of all, the album I received is quite a bit thicker than traditional vinyl. It feels like one of the the 180 gram pressing records I've purchased, but I have not been able to confirm if is a 180 gram pressing. It has some heft to it. UPDATE: Confirmed, this is a 180 gram pressed record. The only drawback to the album is the last track. Here Spector speaks, wishing the listener a merry Christmas. Though the album was recorded 50 years ago, it sounds creepy considering that spector,s in prison for murder. One person found this helpful.
