About Autumn Leaves lyrics. Album Sings For Two In Love (1955). Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all my darling When autumn leaves start to fall.
Lyrics to "Autumn Leaves" song by Frank Sinatra: The falling leaves Drift by the window The autumn leaves Of red and gold I see your lips The summer. I see your lips The summer kisses The sunburned hands I used to hold. Since you went away The days grow long And soon I'll hear Old winter's song. But I miss you most of all My darling When autumn leaves Start to fall. Thanks to André Miranda Silva for correcting these lyrics.
Autumn Leaves is a 1980 album by Bill Evans with Eddie Gómez on bass and Marty Morell on drums. It was released by Lotus, Italy. The title track of the album, Autumn Leaves, is one of the most recorded songs in the world. The original name of the song was Les Feuilles Mortes (Dead Leaves) composed by Joseph Kosma, with lyrics written by the poet, Jacques Prévert in 1945, in France. Later in 1947, English lyrics were written by the Academy Award winning lyricist and songwriter Johnny Mercer.
Published: November 2016. Golden, crisp leaves falling softly from almost bare trees, Lifting and falling in a hushed gentle breeze. Slowly dropping to the soft cushioned ground, Whispering and rustling a soothing sound. Coppers, golds, and rusted tones, Mother Nature's way of letting go. They fall and gather one by one, Autumn is here, summer has gone. Crunching as I walk through their warm, fiery glow, Nature's carpet rich and pure that again shall grow. To protect and shield its majestic tree, Standing tall and strong for the world to see.
Les Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves). In 1956 Columbia Pictures produced a film entitled Autumn Leaves starring Joan Crawford and Cliff Robertson. The album, Ellington Indigos, offered a different, more sentimental side of the Ellington ensemble and has rarely been out-of-print since it was released. Chris Tyle - Jazz Musician and Historian.
