The Greyest of Blue Skies is the second studio album from the Canadian rock band Finger Eleven. The track "Suffocate" appeared on the Scream 3: The Album soundtrack. The tracks "First Time" and "Drag You Down" each appeared in the Dragonball Z feature film Lord Slug, while the song "Stay and Drown" was in the Dragonball Z feature film Cooler's Revenge. A contestant from Idol 2006 sang "Sick of It All". The album was certified Gold in Canada in June 2001.

Blue Skies" is the second single from British alternative group Jamiroquai's studio album Rock Dust Light Star. The single was released via digital download on 1 November 2010. The song was written by band frontman Jay Kay and Matt Johnson. It is the band's second single to be released under Mercury Records. On 1988's Blue Skies, Cassandra Wilson took her first step away from the home she had built with Steve Coleman's M-Base organization. She'd done standards before, all the way back to 1985's Songbook. There are no M-Base players on this JMT set. She fronts a very conventional trio comprised of pianist Mulgrew Miller, drummer Terri Lyne Carrington, and bassist Lonnie Plaxico.
