This is a copy of the very first Sex Pistols bootleg No Fun. It came out a couple of months before "Never Mind The Bollocks", which explains why some songs are given wrong titles (or are simply called "Unknown") on the sleeve. The label is sometimes listed as WISE/P. because that's what it says on the sleeve. But the label states "Acid" and this makes more sense, as the catalog number on the label is SPEED 5 (see images). This is a poor copy of the original No Fun with a blue wrap round cover done in 1980. The original No Fun emenated from Manchester together with the first Clash Manchester 77 White Riot boot. This issue from 3 years later was also a UK issue but completely different source. Reply Notify me Helpful.

The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band that formed in London in 1975. They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years and produced only four singles and one studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, they are regarded as one of the most influential acts in the history of popular music.

The Sex Pistols left a mark on the music industry, despite releasing just one studio album (back in 1977). The most well-known punk rock band in history was like the proverbial comet, shooting across the sky very brightly for a quick moment in time before disappearing into our memories-seared there for posterity. Off the back of that one studio album-Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols-the band has released a silly number of compilation/live albums despite its original run of just a few years.

Amazing song of the Sex Pistols! So disrespectful, a political and social bomb! The introduction is amazing! Clearly their best! So much raw power in this song. By far their best track. This song is mainly great whacking, better perhaps than Anarchy (but Anarchy is very good too) instrumentál solo is simply incredible and Johnny's voice is traditionally "bad" (it means perfect). 17 Einmal War Belsen Bortrefflish. Should be vortrefflich, I guess? 18 Friggin' in the Riggin'. This is very funny and full of rage violence and swearing. The perfect drinking song and it is much better than god save the queen.

The most definitive Sex Pistols compilation ever, it packages virtually every Rotten-era recording of the band into 3 discs. It’s every Sex Pistols recording you ever needed, and never wanted! And I haven’t even mentioned the secret hidden tracks at the end of each dis. f course the eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted there is no material from the post-Rotten ‘Great Rock n Roll Swindle’ era. That material has been left for the ‘Jubilee’ singles compilation. Disc 1 Studio Tracks & Early Demos.

Ultimately, the Sex Pistols created the defining clarion call for punk mayhem. The record was a little less than 40 minutes of seething rock & roll frustration aimed at anyone within gobbing distance, and their home country, in particular. And around the time Never Mind the Bollocks came out on October 28th, 1977, the band caused chaos as much as it inspired anarchy. Forty years later, the album still smacks of vitriol. While other bands on both sides of the Atlantic helped set the bar for punk fury, the combo of Rotten’s cutting vocals, guitarist Steve Jones’ stomping riffs and drummer Paul Cook’s crashing cymbals – not to mention bass appearances by original four-stringer Glen Matlock, who left the group in 1977, and his replacement, Sid Vicious – amplified the menace of songs like . and God Save the Queen into national threats.

The powerhouse opening song on the Sex Pistols' only album sounds more than a little like another classic from the era - namely, the Jam's "In the City," which was released six months earlier. But the Pistols song is louder and heavier. I didn't mind them nicking it," Jam frontman Paul Weller told Uncut in 2007. One of the Sex Pistols' most unhinged and violent records, "Bodies" moves at 100 miles per hour. Lyrically, it's even heavier. Johnny Rotten delivers this abortion tale with typical anger. In spite of the awkwardly inventive rhyme, there's no denying the music that immediately hits. It's set against a wall of guitars that create a massive sound. is heavy without being metal, metallic without being heavy.

This one is a copy of "No Fun" (WISE/PFP) which is the very first bootleg of the Sex Pistols that surfaced on august 1977. There are 4 cover variations of "No Fun": - Plain white cover with "The Sex Pistols" + "No fun" and "Poor Quality" stamped on front. - A very few copies (around 10) have "Rubber Johnny and the Sex Pistols" stamped (instead of "Sex Pistols") + "No Fun" and "ROTTEN QUALITY" instead of "Poor Quality". Possibly the 1st cover ever made before it became "Sex Pistols + "No Fun" + "Poor Quality".- B&W cover with Ian Hodges from the Worst as a golfer, on the front and the same back cover as "The Good Time Music" - B & W photocopies of the above stuck on a plain white cover. The original NO FUN LP has dark green and white labels with PFP printed on top of "NO FUN". The Acid Speed 4 and 5 labels were only used for "The Goodtime Music of..." (and the copy of the 100 Club "Sex Pistols Party" LP). There is no original "NO FUN" LP version with Acid Speed labels."The Good Time Music Of The Sex Pistols" was released later in 1979/80. It is not the first bootleg but a cheap copy of the first bootleg, absolutely not the same value.
