Forgive My Future is the latest album from Thomas Hine, a folk/roots musician from Colorado. Following on the well-received Into The Bottomlands (2011), the album deals with a wide range of topics, from Colorado history, to challenging relationships, and even the loss of mountains. Perhaps leaning towards the lo-fi side in terms of production, Forgive My Future provides evidence of Thomas' progression as a songwriter and reveals his gift for transforming unique perspective into simple, moving compositions
Thomas Hine & Co. is a leading manufacturer of cognac, owned by the French company EDV SAS. The Hine company is named for its proprietor Thomas Hine (sometimes recorded as Thomas Hone), an Englishman from Dorset, England. Following his arrest during the French Revolution, Thomas Hine married a young maiden, Françoise Elisabeth, whose father owned a cognac house in Jarnac. Hine took the company to new heights, and eventually renamed it Thomas Hine & C°. in 1817.

Contact Thomas Hine on Messenger. I wrote this song, Hand of the Harper, several years ago about a man who also loved the ditches to the east of town. Instead of re-posting an album version of the original (which is now essentially out of print, I realize), I am putting this here instead. A great cover performance by a friend of a friend from Alabama recorded a few years back.
