A Static Lullaby is the third album by post-hardcore band A Static Lullaby released October 10, 2006 through Fearless Records. This is the first release after the departure of three members of the band's original lineup and is also the only album to feature drummer Jarrod Alexander and guitarist/vocalist John Martinez. Following the release of Faso Latido, the band was dropped from their record label, Columbia Records.

The debut Charge Group album. Written and made when the band was still a collective in flux, this record features the wondrously inventive Bree van Reyk on drums/percussion, with boy-genius violinist Jason Tampake and ex-Purplene founders Matt "Black" Blackman (voice/guitar) and Adam Jesson (bass). Blackman drums on 'Lunar Module' and 'The Contest' while Matt "Rosie" Rossetti (Purplene, The Instant) takes to the skins on 'Speakeasy Death Song'. Track Name: Lullaby for the Apocalypse. So what comes next for those of us who never rest Who never take a breath? To journey onward beyond machinery stuck in a side-street factory Or to the bedroom Potential war zone, daily confessional Collect the pay cheque by the scruff of the neck Tipping the hat to proper man.

The rubble scatters itself artfully as a substitute for a field of grass Painting the ideal movie rendition of ruins around you. Will you lay your burden down, dear child, when you feverishly whisper to yourself-. Grip your weapon tighter in your hands as you feel the knots in your gut compressing, contracting, aching.
