Winter into Spring is the third solo album of pianist George Winston, released in 1982. It was inspired by the transition of the seasons and was the follow-up to his 1980 album, Autumn. It was reissued on Winston's Dancing Cat label. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA on December 17, 1987. All music composed by George Winston, except "O Mar", by Dorival Caymmi.

George Winston Format: Audio Cassette. Winter Into Spring" is the next in the series of seasonal music after "Autumn" by pianist George Winston. While it is still very calming, it didn't move me as much as "Autumn. The pieces, as in the previous seasonal recordings, paint very definite pictures, the most outstanding of these being "Ocean Waves," where you can picture the waves forming in the ocean, washing onto shore and receding again.

In a sense, this second seasonal album follows an opposite direction from Autumn, its hard, isolated notes and stop-and-start style gradually giving way from the stasis of winter to the growth and movement of spring.
