In 2005 Fahey independently released The MGA Sessions, an album recorded with frequent collaborator Sophie Muller in the mid-1990s Fahey's track "Bitter Pill" was partially covered by pop band The Pussycat Dolls on their 2005 debut album PCD. The verses (which were slightly altered) and the overall sound of the song are from "Bitter Pill", but added in was the chorus of Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff". The song was renamed.

Siobhan Fahey is a British singer most famous for her membership in pop group Bananarama and her own duo Shakespears Sister. Fahey was born in Dunshaughlin, County Meath, Ireland, where she lived for about two years, before moving to Germany where her father was posted as a soldier in the British Army. The family subsequently moved to England, living in various areas, while Fahey was sent to a convent school in Edinburgh.
The MGA Sessions is the debut solo studio album by Irish singer-songwriter Siobhan Fahey. Since the revival of Fahey's project Shakespears Sister, this remains her only solo album to date. The MGA Sessions was first conceived of in 1993 as a joint project between Fahey and music video director Sophie Muller, as a soundtrack "to fit around the script" of MGA, a film directed and written by the two. This film however, was never made for unknown reasons.
