Brown Bird was a band from Warren, Rhode Island, formed in 2003 as a solo project by David Lamb. In their final incarnation, the band was the duo of Lamb and his wife MorganEve Swain. The band disbanded in 2014 following Lamb's death from leukemia. Lamb formed Brown Bird in 2003 in Seattle, Washington but moved soon thereafter to Portland, Maine. The line-up soon included Jerusha Robinson on cello and her husband Jeremy Robinson on multiple instruments.

This album is FUN! If you are a Hall & Oates fan then you will love listening to so many of their hits redone in such a cool and quirky manner. music is supposed to make you feel good right? I don't have too many friends who are Hall & Oates fans as well but I bought for the one friend I do have and she absolutely love it! She would not stop talking about it and said that it was the best gift I have ever given her (it might have been because my gifts in the past were just really bad!)
