This being their fifth studio album, Dead Reckoning definitely shows the band has matured as they cultivated a style that has become their own. That said, front lady ZouZou Mansour has a captivating voice and not to be under sold or underestimated, Travis Smith (bass/vocals), Brianna Sig (drummer), and Mike Reisman (guitar/vocals) are just as talented and expressive. Twelve songs in total, the album begins with the single Quicksand, which is an expression of intensity filled with power riffs and vigor. It is no surprise that their name fits them perfectly, because Soraia means bright, guiding star in Arabic. Simply put, they are a talented band, but above all, they offer music that is real and from the heart, without barriers. They are not trying to fit a title, they are just making good music. Each song on Dead Reckoning is different yet so precisely executed.
The nautically-titled album, which incorporates a song written by Zandt ( Why ) as well as a Prince cover ( Wow ), sees singer ZouZou Mansour hurling lyrics like Scuds with unerring precision. Dead Reckoning is the eighth studio album (and fifteenth overall) by progressive metal band Threshold. It is their first album since the departure of founding member Nick Midson and the last to feature long time vocalist Andrew "Mac" McDermott. It is also the only one to feature guest vocals (provided by Dan Swanö on two tracks) and their first album on their current label, Nuclear Blast.
Reckoning is a 1981 live double album by the Grateful Dead. It consists of acoustic material recorded live in September and October 1980. Some of the tracks are shortened versions of the live performances
