Brian Auger and the Trinity was a British musical ensemble led by keyboardist Brian Auger. His duet with Julie Driscoll, the Bob Dylan-penned "This Wheel's On Fire", was a hit on the 1968 UK Singles Chart. Their joint album, Open, billed as Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity, reached in the UK Albums Chart the same year. The group and Driscoll opened for Led Zeppelin at the Rose Palace in Pasadena, California on 2 and 3 May 1969.

Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity scored a top 5 hit on the 1968 UK Singles Chart with their cover of the Bob Dylan-penned "This Wheel's On Fire". Their first album, Open, was released in 1967 on Marmalade Records but they didn't attract attention until the release of their single, "This Wheel's on Fire," in the spring of 1968, which preceded the appearance of the song on the Band's Music from Big Pink album. They recorded several sessions for British radio and European television which comprise this album
