Italo disco is a genre born in the beginning of the eighties combining the typical Italian taste for melodies and lush harmonies to the upcoming electronic new wave breeze coming from UK and Germany. Started of with "Masterpiece" in 1982 it became one of the most successful dance genres produced in Italy and exported worldwide.
