Heart in Motion is the eighth studio album, and twelfth album by Christian pop singer Amy Grant, released on March 5, 1991. The album features Grant's biggest worldwide hit, "Baby Baby" and was certified 5 platinum in the United States, selling over five million copies. In contrast to its predecessor, the more acoustic Lead Me On, Heart in Motion consists of songs that were more heavily processed, as was the style of mainstream music at the time.

Coming off the heels of Grant's massively successful 1991 album Heart in Motion, Home for Christmas performed even better than Heart in Motion on the Billboard charts, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Christian album chart.

She is known for her fourteen studio albums, one extended play, three live albums, three Christmas albums, four compilation albums, six video albums, twenty-four music videos, and ninety-four singles. While working as an intern at a recording studio, she made a tape of her songs for her parents that was heard by producer Brown Bannister, who in turn played it for gospel singer Chris Christian, the owner of the recording studio, who called it Word Records. Chris Christian offered her a recording contract, while she was still in her mid-teens. In 1977, she recorded her first album "Amy Grant" which was released on Word's Myrrh Records.
