Slave To Love" lyrics. Tell her I'll be waiting in the usual place With the tired and weary and there's no escape To need a woman you've got to know How the strong get weak and the rich get poor. Slave to love Oho Slave to love. You're running with me Don't touch the ground We're the restless hearted Not the chained and bound. The sky is burning A sea of flame Though your world is changing I will be the same.

From Bryan Ferry's album 'Boys And Girls'. the sameSlave to loveSlave to loveSlave to loveSlave to loveAnd I can't escapeI'm a slave to loveThe storm is breakingOr so it seemsWe're too young to reasonToo grown up to dreamNow spring is turningYour face to mineI can hear your laughterI can see your smileSlave to loveSlave to loveAnd I can't escapeI'm a slave to loveSlave to loveSlave

Street Life and More Than This were both grab bags of Roxy Music singles and material from Bryan Ferry's solo career. While it's logical to assume that fans of one artist would certainly be interested in the other, the approach never made for a unified compilation - Roxy Music's sound shifted quite a bit over the years, and their earlier, edgier singles never sat well next to the smooth balladeering of Ferry's companion career

Slave To Love Lyrics. Tell her I'll be waiting In the usual place With the tired and weary There's no escape. To need a woman You've got to know How the strong get weak And the rich get poor. You're running with me But don't touch the ground We're restless hearted Not the chained and bound. No I can't escape I'm a slave to love. Can you help me Can you help me. The storm is breaking Or so it seems We're too young to reason Too grown up to dream.

Who could not love Bryan Ferry? I just saw him in Oakland California at the Fox Theater and he was magnificent! At 68 years of age his voice is amazing and he is as cool and chic as ever. This CD is a very good representation of his music - the best of the best for Roxy music as well as other key songs from his career. Personally I love "Jealous Guy". If you are a fan and love Bryan Ferry and/or are new to his music this is a great CD to own. Do try to see him while he is on tour in the US and Europe this 2014. This album is worth having just for Is Your Love Strong Enough with it's haunting ambient intro and the ambient rock guitar aways and for the great cover version of the classic Crazy Love. 4 people found this helpful.
