Aaliyah's second album doesn't necessarily prove that she is indeed One in a Million, but it does showcase more depth and talent than her acclaimed debut. That's not only due to the greater variety of material on One in a Million, or to the way that her producers (Vincent Herbert, Jermaine Dupri, and many others) immaculately produce each track, but it is also due to the fact that Aaliyah's singing is smoother, more seductive, and stronger than before.
Album · 2018 · 14 Songs. He followed it up with Hakuna Matoma, a set of colorful pop remixes (Dua Lipa, One Direction) and collaborations with Sean Paul and Jennifer Lopez that flexed his knack for feel-good pop. Here he reaches for a more global sound: I really wanted to push myself creatively and sonically to make different types of songs, he told Billboard. There’s a lot of cool flavors. Latin artists take center stage-Enrique Iglesias, Yashua, and Luis Figueroa all guest-while Noah Cyrus and Becky Hill take us to new trop-pop heights. One In a Million Matoma.
