The Carnabees - The Story Of The Beatles GER 2LP 1976 FOC. The album also has some fragments of some songs played by the band, plus some fragments from instrumental orchestral arrangements done to their music (I don& know who did those arrangements, but they sound very out of date and very "conservative" to my ears). The narration of the story is well done, but it sounds more like a very "conservative" reporter doing his job in a very typical "conservative" way, talking about the Beatles& very famous haircut in a very "conservative" way, for example.

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The line-up of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr led them to be regarded as the most influential band of all time. With a sound rooted in skiffle, beat and 1950s rock and roll, the group were integral to the evolution of pop music into an art form, and to the development of the counterculture of the 1960s.
The Beatles would see continued success in America with the first live music concerts to be held at stadiums, including a show at Shea Stadium to a world record crowd of 55,600 on August 15th 1965. The worldwide number 1 album Abbey Road followed later in the year, just before The Beatles finally broke up in 1970.

The album’s working title was Everest, named after the cigarettes that sound engineer Geoff Emerick smoked. The packets had a silhouette of Mount Everest on them and The Beatles liked the imagery. 2. Originally, they planed to take a private plane over to the foothills of Mount Everest to shoot the cover photograph. 3. The photo was taken at around 11:30am, on the morning of 8th August 1969 outside EMI Studios on Abbey Road. This action became one of the ‘clues’ in the Paul Is Dead myth, which began in September 1969. 6. During shots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 the group were walking out of step. However, the fifth shot was perfect, and it was this, which was selected by Paul McCartney for the album.
