Cassette-only label DISKRET was founded by Udalrich Warmsiedler and Andreas Asselborn from Cologne, Germany. Basically they were themselves involved in most of the projects being released. Some made it to late ‘fame’ on vinyl releases by WSDP: DINO MARTINI, FRAUEN VON AVIGNON or HESSEN GANZ GROß!, for example. On this 7 EP compilation we get similar recordings from 1981 to 1983 by 4712, U. WARMSIEDLER, PHILLIPE . HAND UND FUß, JOHN McGENIUS und REINHEIT DES HERZENS. Very DIY, very raw, very personal – like you are sitting in their living rooms while they perform these tracks.
