Templo Diez' music is full of echoes and scenery, echoes of both American and European songwriting and scenery that is truly transatlantic. Templo Diez was founded in 2002 by songwriter Pascal Hallibert (vocals, guitars, keys), he was joined soon by Leejon Verhaeg (guitars) and Paolo Panza (drums, glockenspiel), who both played with Hallibert in "Miss Wyoming", a band from The Hague. They recorded and planned the release of a second album, "Winterset" came out in 2006. This album was the natural progression of what "Hoboken" already had shown, a much broader sound, due to the use of more string-based arrangements. Halliberts song writing and the band's music, combined with the travelling-like sequence of the songs, converted the album into a cinematographic experience.
